For a long time, whatever was made "for us" locally fell into one of three groups: fear-mongering about chemicals, foreign trends copied without the science behind them, or corners cut that nobody could see until their skin paid for it.
I know, because I was the customer first.
I was the customer first.
Acne that wouldn't quit. Dermatologist after dermatologist, brand after brand, chasing whatever was trending that month. Nothing worked, and nothing was honest about why. Was it the ingredients? The formulation? Products not built for our skin, climate, water and sun? No one could tell me, so I stopped asking.
I started working with international skincare brands, selling on global marketplaces. For the first time I saw skincare from the inside: ingredient sourcing, formulation standards, testing, and the discipline behind what goes into a bottle.
It was everything I'd wished existed at 19. It wasn't unavailable because it was impossible. It was unavailable because no one had built it here.
Our skin has real, specific needs.
Our market is flooded with products that were never formulated for any of this. What we didn't need was another brand repackaging fear ("chemical-free!") or imported assumptions about skin that isn't ours. We needed rigor, transparency, and formulation that respects the skin it's made for.
